I began my career as a corporate computer analyst and have now found my bliss. Being an artist is not what I am, but who I am. I love to create vibrant paintings from scenes that I enjoy. I try to interpret my subject, always sharing a piece of myself with the viewer and hopefully continuing to grow and hone my craft. It is wonderful to see the world in a new way full of light and dark, brightness and dullness and hard and soft.
My 'Fuchsia Frenzy' painting was included in the 2011 Golden Globe gift lounge as a display piece and one of the celebrity gift bags included prints of 'Vancouver B.C.!
I show my work regionally and have been accepted in many juried exibitions. I am proud to have won many awards for my work. I have also had my work published in several books including ‘Art on a Plate – The ACEO cookbook’ and ‘Create, Collect, Trade, a Collection of Artist Trading Cards Created by Artists and Students’. The latter is used as a school teaching tool for the young artists of tomorrow.
I have work represented in private collections worldwide that include many commissions.
