Artist's Description
I was lucky enough to have this peacock pose for me when we visited a winery outside of Florence. He was so perfect and lovely that I had to paint him. I used Interference colors in the original painting to add sheen to the tail feathers. Nice modern size too!

I began my career as a corporate computer analyst and have now found my bliss. Being an artist is not what I am, but who I am. I love to create vibrant paintings from scenes that I enjoy. P.S. I like to use interference colors too. When I first saw the labels on the tubes in art supply stores, I was baffled by the name. (But) now I know what they are and I use them quite often.
