Artist's Description
I created this still life using some of my prize posessions from the 60s and 70s. I love the contrasts in the painting from the shiny metal on the lamp to the bright plastic on the toy. The original piece is framed in an upcycled frame with a cream colored matte.

I began my career as a corporate computer analyst and have now found my bliss. Being an artist is not what I am, but who I am. I love to create vibrant paintings from scenes that I enjoy. I try to interpret my subject, always sharing a piece of myself with the viewer and hopefully continuing to grow and hone my craft. It is wonderful to see the world in a new way full of light and dark, brightness and dullness and hard and soft.
