This is a painting I did from a photo I took one crisp fall morning of a balloon take-off. I actually rode in this balloon and we were able to take off from my parent's back field in the 1000 Islands area.

I began my career as a corporate computer analyst and have now found my bliss. Being an artist is not what I am, but who I am. I love to create vibrant paintings from scenes that I enjoy. I try to interpret my subject, always sharing a piece of myself with the viewer and hopefully continuing to grow and hone my craft. It is wonderful to see the world in a new way full of light and dark, brightness and dullness and hard and soft. My 'Fuchsia Frenzy' painting was included in the 2011 Golden Globe gift lounge as a display piece and one of the celebrity gift bags included prints of 'Vancouver B.C.!
