Artist's Description
I took some photos at the Shelburne museum in Vermont with hopes of painting material. This one was perfect. The challenge was the weathered wood siding and window casing. The colors in the wood were fantastic!
About Lynne Reichhart
I began my career as a corporate computer analyst and have now found my bliss. Being an artist is not what I am, but who I am. I love to create vibrant paintings from scenes that I enjoy. I try to interpret my subject, always sharing a piece of myself with the viewer and hopefully continuing to grow and hone my craft. It is wonderful to see the world in a new way full of light and dark, brightness and dullness and hard and soft. My 'Fuchsia Frenzy' painting was included in the 2011 Golden Globe gift lounge as a display piece and one of the celebrity gift bags included prints of 'Vancouver B.C.!
